Saara Sabbagh has been active in the field of youth and community work in Melbourne for over 25 years. She is a cross-cultural educator, consultant and public speaker on Islamic affairs. She has studied in Syria under female scholars and is a lecturer on “Ethics & Spirituality in the Modern World.”
Saara is the Founding Director of Benevolence Australia, which has a specific focus on converts, reconnecting Muslims and the wider community. Benevolence is a grassroots community organisation that sees itself as part of the global scholarly and spiritual revival that aims to reclaim the narrative on Islam and conscious/ethical living in the modern world.
